Is Deterrence by Denial a New Kind of Deterrent?
Deterrence by resilience also requires resilience, the ability to withstand, fight through, and recover quickly from disruption. This is just something that is like one half of deterrence by denial. It's always been that way. Why do we have to redefine all these deterrence terms? Melanie agrees. I don't object to a lot of what it is. But we need to make sure that it's more grandiose than punishment.
