Stargate SG-1: Why Major Wood Appears in Over 20 Episodes
In the TV series Stargate SG-1, the character Major Wood appears in over 20 episodes. Why is he often filmed with his back to the camera to make things easier for the director? I mean, my first impulse is that this has something to do with like ADR or like you shoot people from the back when you want to like dub them over for some reason. My first thought was like makeup or CGI. Like if this is like a CGI character, then it would be cheaper to not have to animate their face or whatever.
