When we are rigid, what is rigidity? It's basically defined by treating these thoughts, emotions and stories as fact. So a thought might be, gee, the vacations ruined. An emotion might be an emotion of stress or anger, grief,. Or an experience or story, a story that was written on our mental chalkboards when we were five years old. And so there are these very important skills of emotional agility that allow your emotions to have a place in the world, but not to be dominating your world.
