Using Django in a Data Science Environment?

Django is a really interesting escape hatch because Python is so nice for so many things, but there are certain things where it's just kind of slow at. A lot of the libraries that get used in those places like NumPy and whatnot, they actually just fall back to C. So having Django manage all of that with the fact that we can just import the ORM to dump data into the database was really, really nice.
