Brett's Fifty Shades of Grey

Eric Stonestreet met with producers Mike Daluca and Dana Brunetti to pitch his vision for the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. After a positive meeting, Brett was told that he would not be writing the film. A screenwriter named Kelly Marcel had been chosen instead. The story is actually about when Walt Disney produced the film adaptation of Pamela Travers' book Mary Poppins. When they made that movie, Travers wanted a lot of creative control over the adaptation.
