The income in equality is a fuel for authoritarian populism. Until workers and people and citizens feel empowered, our democracy is going to be in danger. During the pandemic, it became really clear that work place safety is not a bygone issue. And i think i am becoming more and more clear all of the time about the fact that one person's rest always requires another person's labor.
