Inlaws of alice neil thought that being a painter made her a bad mother. They claimed she had left her baby in basinet out on the fire escape while she was trying to fit painting some versions its. But i'm sure the baby was fine, but they're horrified at the notion that somebody is trying to do two things at once and not utterly devoted to her child. That is still a scary notion for of people.
