Jurors Defining Beyond a Reasonable Doubt

The Supreme Court held up the convictions in both cases, but they admonished the lower courts and told them to keep their morals out of it. It's possible there's no way to define reasonable doubt without taking away its magic. Sometimes when you can't define something, you can use an analogy to explain the concept.
