The Spirituality of the Holy Hour

The Second Vatican Council says in a very direct way that the Eucharist is the sourcing summit of our faith. So it's not a surprise then that Christians say, okay, well, if we could just extend the time that we're able to be with Christ from the Mass into reserving the blessed sacrament. There's a natural extension there wanting to be with Jesus as the apostles were on that night when they made that first holy hour.
