CHAPTER

The Danger of Allowing Oneself to Dissolve

Milner's work resonates so strongly with me is that I identify with her understanding of creativity which has to do precisely with this notion of allowing the self to dissolve. What intrigues me about this process is the danger that always accompanies this act of allowing yourself to dissolve allow yourself to dive into the sea to the private sea into the sounds. When you allow yourself to be engulfed by the designs in some ways you're always walking very close to self destruction and it can be very scary when you don't know whether you will be able to come back to the land self.
