The Risks of QT Prolongation

Zeprazidone tends to produce the most clinically-significant QT prolongation. Lithium can impact the QT significantly when levels exceed 1.2 milliquivalence per liter. Of the axialidics, benzodiazepines and busperone have little effect on the QT interval. The simultaneous use of two or more QT prolonging medications significantly elevates the risk of QT interval prolongation.
