Anecdotal experiences cannot be verified or relied upon to scientific conclusions. But there seem to be some pretty strong evidences that it the that don't seem to fit with what we know about the brain. We have published studies that do imperson interviews, that do inmperson intervews with the persons who had the experience and those who are around them.
