Is There a Duopoly?

i know that the republican party for they have massive, massive problems. They dreamed of a policy platform last i checked. And if the voters decide on a crazy person they lie. But this was all made possible because we haven't been harnessing the real dignity and decency and intelligence of the american people. Neither the democrats nor the republicans really saw their power lying in doing so.
