The Heraclai-Tian notion that war is the father of all and strife is justice. That strife, this principle necessarily creates this rank ordering of things. And so too with all of us, all of our drives end up ordering themselves into this hierarchy. Nietzsche is saying this is what bears witness to who and what we are.
