She says there are a lot of movie consumers and movie watchers who often demand yet another block buster movie. Even the possibility that now films are released directly on to net flakes from the very beginning, for her, is an indicator of the loss of the character of the senophile. But i do think she's traking a real change in our relationship to film as a culture. And back in the day when you could only see things on the big screen, yes, sure, a lot of times movie theatres would play old films.
