One of the big critiques of moral foundations theory is that it seems morally relativistic. I think there's plenty of philosophers who that's their aim, right? They want to derive a normative theory. And some of them have used moral foundations to try to art. The fact that we make moral judgments based on disgust doesn't mean that we should make moral judgmentsbased on disgust.
