Psychoanalysts generally do tend to focus more on individual personal history, anything that has to do with a person's childhood. And then all of this that supposedly resides in the unconscious and influences how people perceive things and respond. But traditionally analysts were less clued into these gigantic influences that big history, systemic issues have to do with like grudges between two generations down.
