I came to the woll bank in the early eighties, and i came in a most sort of prosaic way. But they had very few people formist in europe, because in those days, only a couple of countries were actually four countries,. iveslavia, to the extent of the busiest in europe. And you could not actually get a job unless your country was a member. So that was the background, which then led me, of course, to work on eastern europe.
