Do You Have a Deficiency in DHA and EPA?

A deficiency in omega-3 specifically DHA and EPA is one of the leading causes of accelerated brain shrinkage. People who ate less than 4 grams of DHA per day showed the highest rates of brain shrinkage while those who ate 6 grams or more had the healthiest shrink-proofed brains. A study found that increasing dietary levels of DHA was able to improve both memory and reaction time in test subjects.
