Consciousness Is Deeply Rooted in Our Nature as Living Machines
Consciousness is deeply rooted in our nature as living machines. Free will is not some mysterious, uncaused cause that changes the flow of physical events. Octopuses and love octopuses have very different ways of engaging with their world. There are more neurons in an octopuss arm than in its central brain and the arms put together. consciousness depends on wet wear and not hard war.
