Lepede and Bennet's Coalition Was a Great Moment of Political Compromise
Bennet had incredible negotiating leverage in the situation, because lapede could not form a government without him. Bennet was an incredibly weak prime minister because he had no political base within his own government. And so it ideologically just became unworkable, which many people predicted. I thought there were many other fault line moments that would have broken up this coalition, and it didn't, up to now.
