Detecting Deepfakes Using PPG Signals
Plethysmography is like taking visual cues to see very natural flows of blood to the face or whatever is being depicted on screen. PPG signals are what we use, essentially, for catching deepfakes. With no deep learning, with no AI, just by an implicit formula, implicit processing of signals, we found that we can answer that question correctly by 99.39%.
