Joy Reid's Take on Independence Day
Joy Reid says she didn't go out on July 4th and would not. She said the idea of going to a mass gathering, a parade or a big fireworks thing outside seems insane in America because "America is awash with guns" But if you're a person who would want to go express themselves and enjoy their country and their countrymen and countrywomen, that you would do that and say that you wouldn't be because of gun violence? That seems preposterous to me. I am profoundly saddened for her if that is sincere.
