Are We Creating Exploitation in the Software Industry?

I think we need to take a hard look as an industry about the lie we've been telling ourselves, which is that we've got it good and we shouldn't complain. Yes, we do get paid better and we have better benefits than a lot of people in a lot of industries. But that does not mean that things are perfect. That doesn't mean we can't make things better. And I think a lot of the working environments in the software industry are extremely exploitive.
