The Status of the Yizra in India

The Hijra community was never considered female, they were not considered as female sex class. Women have always had a soft corner for these men, but they never considered them to be actual literal female. Feminists have always tried to help marginalized communities all over the country. The caste system is an extremely important factor to consider whenever we talk about the transgender community in India.
