I Don't Have the Active Existence in Virtue of What I Am.

The active existence actualizes the essence. So you can't have the active existence flowing from the essence and the way that my rise ability flows from my essence. There's some extrinsic principle or other through which I possess the active existence. The metaphysics society are groaning right now. Thomas uses the terminology of per se ordered series where at Oxford, scodus used the terminology of essentially ordered series. But there are distinct metaphysical differences between how Thomas and scodus conceived of these series but not much rights on that terminology.
