Darwinism came in with a basic notion that there are superior versions of each race. So, the great European Imperial project was supported to a degree by Darwinism. Out of Darwinism comes eugenics, out of eugenics comes fascism, out of fascism comes racial hatred, anti-Semitism, all that sort of stuff.
