The Effects of the Alito Decision on Drinking Water
Justice Kagan, in her effectively dissent, says, if you've lately swam in a lake, happily drunk a glass of water, straight from the tap, or sat down to a good fish dinner, you can appreciate what the law has accomplished. Justice Thomas is unusually unabashed in stating clearly that federal environmental law pushes the limits of even the court's New Deal precedent. And because I don't believe in that, environmental laws down the tubes too.
