Filmmaking

The film is based on the 67 riots in detroit, which affected a lot of music coming out of that city. The band moton moved to the west as a result of the end of those riots. It's one of many films made by this group including hurtlocker and zero dark 30. They're all very different but they have similar goals for their work.
