Homo Habelis - The Evolution of Stone Tools

Homo habelis is thought to have evolved from around 300 thousand years ago. Early modern humans had taken the creation of stone tools to a very intricate and intelligent level. By the late stone age, we can really begin to see the expertis of human creativity. Larger hand axes would have given modern humans an edge in a one and one confrontation with another human. In the last 30 thousand years, bone harpoons were created with serrated teeth that would have been terrific for fish hunting.
