We were living basically, you know, in almost a vacuum basically. Very few Muslims. We did have a local Masjid al-Lamda but it was the early days of Muslims in Britain. So there was a lot of antagonism, but it wasn't that visible on the street. It was OK. You might get the odd shout from the other side of the street and go back home or something. But on the whole, people were a bit more tolerant, I think, in those days. Because we're talking about 1960s, probably. Right? 60s, early 70s, England. Probably not as much diversity as there is obviously today. Not as strong
