Trivial pursuit was invented by two canadians in 19 79. They would pose as reporters at toy fairs to get information from game experts. By the end of 19 82, all 20 thousand of those games had been sold. Trivial pursuit found its home in the united states and it is there that they would have their initial explosive growth. But ultimately, the big company that would take over all things, hasborough would come to own the rights to distribute the game - and still does today.
