Are We Going to Make Em Environmental Activists?

I watched captain planet as a child. I don't remember coming away from it thinking about the environment. No one gave a fock in the schoolyard, no one gave a shit about the environmental issues being raised. The way that the toys for captain plannet, the way that they were marketed, we were too familiar with it. That was far more powerful than the theme of the episode about orangitangs going extinct. So why not now, or early? Let's try and sell them the concept of becoming environmental activists. But we going to sell em toys as well. We're going to sellem toes as well. Ye.
