How to Keep People Engaged on a Video Call

Every at least every five minutes, I'll ask a question for people to type into the chat. You don't necessarily need to get everyone on the call really regularly. But if you've got a group of 10, 12, 15 people, ask them to at least type something in. And it just keeps real engaged, I suppose,. It's got something to do, they have some kind of control, some contribution to the whole session. What about body language? Does it matter? And online calls? Is that someone we think about a lot in face to face communication? but what about online?
