Evolution of Life

It's not the physical molecules, it is the knowledge that those molecules represent. The knowledge can exist in different physical forms, but it's still the same knowledge. In theory you could read out the entire genome and then recapitulate it into a new genome. But instead we're taking biological knowledge from one place to another through a different physical media. That's what's going on with evolution. It's being copied because it's useful. So we still haven't quite got admitted to the significance of life cosmologically speaking. We already have background knowledge to predict where it is coming from.
