Andrea, your book shows how sound has so many different ways in which it influences us. It's an integral part of how we experience the world but is also highly subjective. How did you get into this field? I grew up in a house where more than one language was spoken. My mam was a pianist and i must have had a sense early on that the world that i was interested in engaging with, i lived in the world of sound.
