The Importance of Privacy
For privacy to be widespread, it must be part of a social contract. People must come and together deploy these systems for the common good. Privacy only extends so far as the cooperation of one's fellows in society. So you don't need to beat people and submission to have your ideal socialist utopia. You can spend the how many lifetimes of the universe trying to find this needle and a haystack over here in my encrypted stash of Bitcoin or whatever it is. Or you could just go out and do something productive for your fellow man and earn a living at the same time.
