63 % of professional hockey players in canada are born in the first four months of the year. Older means more, generally speaking, more a fundamentally dexterously sound right? You've got more and ie coordination. And so if you're more co ordinated and bigger, that means you get more playing time. The age group system in leagues benefits those kids who happen to be at the older side of the spectrum.
