I always felt that resourcefulness would be far more valuable to me than having resources. I spent the last year as a volunteer 10 hours a day for a year and a half organizing and coordinating the Carbon Almanac. It's a 97,000 word book written by 300 volunteers in 40 countries. Very few of us had ever met before. None of us met in person, not once, to make this book. We built the book, illustrated the book, designed the book, proof, credit, fact-checked it and footnoted it in five months. This was the way it needed to be done.
In this captivating podcast episode, Seth Godin, renowned author and business executive, explores the essence of work and unveils a powerful manifesto for teams in his book, 'The Song of Significance.' With economic instability and remote work disconnecting us, Godin challenges the status quo and offers actionable insights for leaders and individuals to create a better work environment that values people over profit. Join the conversation to discover how we can build significant organizations that empower and trust everyone to unleash their best work, ultimately reshaping the future of work itself.
