Peter and the other apostles said we cannot But speak in the name of Jesus. They were filled with boldness remember that prayer from yesterday? Gamaliel says if this is of God you can't fight it if it's of men. If this is of man, it's gonna be over with in a day if it’s of God. You will find yourselves battling the Lord himself. So they took his advice and when they had called them the apostles They beat them and charged them not to speak in thename of Jesus and let them go.
