Markov's Fault in Brisbane's Murder

Philip Markov was found guilty of murdering Meghan McAllister's ex-fiancée. He tried to take his own life several times while being held at the Nashua Street Jail. His fiance called off their wedding and told him she did not plan to see him again for a long period of time. On August 15th 2010, exactly one year and one day after his wedding was to have taken place, he was found dead in his jail cell. The correctional officers who discovered Markov's body were horrified to discover that he had written his former fiance's name and their pet names for each other in blood in the cell wall.
