The Problem With Inheritance
If you can't afford to invest, it means that your financial situation is the most vulnerable. You're right it's a choice, but that problem's not going to go away. Most job situations these days don't have pensions and don't have full-time jobs. The best interest rates in Spain are about 2%. In Canada they're pretty dismal. I lost 44% in the last 20 years by having it sit there. It was for me when I wasn't doing this and I'm doing it now. So what's the difference? The money is working for me instead of sitting there.
