Heath Ledger's Joker is a wonderful portrayal of Brilliant. He makes the scariest people in the room cow-er. The best Joker is in the comic books, and I think in this Nolan movie, is that he doesn't even seem to have self-interest. And there's something just inherently like attractive at somebody who's just really good at what they do.
