During COVID, I stopped having offering plates outside on our table. They're right outside the nave. Our offerings actually went up. Franz Peeper said Tithing is an Old Testament practice that's been replaced by the work of the Holy Spirit. New Testament offerings are spontaneous. They're motivated by love, not by the law,. But his point is it's a free will. It's Thanksgiving on the way. Are you waiting? You're like, no, I'm really thankful for this church. I'm thankful for my pastor. And I know pastors got a family and they have other things to take care of as well.
