The Glory That Overcomes Glory

Paul says the gospel has come in and reduced the glory of the law to nothing. He does this contrast because he wants to show the people what it is they actually possess that being receivers of this gospel, they have something entirely different than those who had received the law back in the Old Testament. In verse 12, since we have such a hope, we are very bold, not like Moses who would put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze at the outcome of what was being brought to an end.
