The Four Tasks of Heracles
For his third task, Heracles was sent to Carinea to catch a deer. But this wasn't just a deer, it was an enchanted high that was dedicated to the goddess Artemis. After that, for his fourth task, he was sent into the mountains to chase down a wild boar. This was another oversized beast that was terrorizing the locals and destroying farms. It is said that Heracles dipped his arrows in the Hydra's poisonous blood to make him extra dangerous with a bow.
