Kenya's Tobacco Industry Is a Major Driver of Deforestation Money

The tobacco industry generally is a major driver of deforestation money so there's a big carbon cost um you're losing forest and it's a product that gives you cancer and emphysema at least does this provide a good living for the farmers. In countries such as bulgarian tacky however governments have helped to subsidize the transition into alternative crops instead which is what now the Kenyan government wants to do.
