Insecurely attached kids think their friend is going out of their way to be mean and to harm them. Assume people like you when it's ambiguous, unless it's clear that they don't. If I ask for support from my friend, they'll want to show up for me. That allows you to ask for support. Or if I try to address this problem, my friend will be willing to hear me out.
