The Anxiety of Working to Save Someone's Life

A friend of mine was doing his residency in the ER when a beeper went off. It told him that someone had stopped breathing and he ran down the hallway to save their lives. As they were working as hard as they could, an attending doctor yelled stop. "We were all like bro. You're trying to save someone's life. Why would you stop? What the attending doctor knew that they didn't was that unless they stopped periodically"
