Edwin Diaz's Injury Is Not a Fluke Injury.
Injuries are part of the game. We have to get out there that WBC is not being canceled. The likelihood of injury of Edwin Diaz during a celebration is no different than a spring training arm injury during a bullpen on a backfield. Steve Cone isn't worried about the 20 million to Edwin Diaz. If he cannot play this year because of the WBC, his salary will be paid by MLB. Even the competitors in the national league east don't want to see Edwin Diaz go down like that. Nobody does.
